INTRODUCTION

Introduction

     This experiment  was chosen because it will determine whether vitamins can prevent fruit from browning.  To find out if vitamins can prevent fruit from browning is really important for science.  Why, because it will determine whether we can leave fruit out for a while.  If it does prevent browning it will be able keep the nutrients in the fruit.  Otherwise the fruit will dry up and lose the juice, or nutrients.  If this experiment works the fruit will be able to sit out for a while and keep almost all of its nutrients.  Also, if vitamins prevent the process of free radicals with antioxidants.  Then, it will prevent the process of free radicals in a human body.  This is important because free radicals can cause damage to a person, so it is important to eat foods with antioxidants.  Since, free radicals can damage major components of cells.  Scientists should figure out which fruit or type of vitamin will prevent the process of free radicals the most.  So they can help people that already have free radicals.
